And the great news is that you don’t have to do anything, because updates will be automatically downloaded and installed whenever they’re available. (Unless you’re on a metered connection, in which case the updates won’t download until you opt to get them.)
But every now and then your PC may need to restart to install the updates. To prevent those restarts from happening at the most inconvenient time:
Select the Start Image of Start button button, select Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and then select Advanced options.
Under Choose how updates are installed, use the drop-down menu to choose an option:
– Schedule a restart
– Automatically restart
Deferring upgrades in Windows 10
Some Windows 10 editions let you defer upgrades to your PC. When you defer upgrades, new Windows features won’t be downloaded or installed for several months. Deferring upgrades doesn’t affect security updates. Note that deferring upgrades will prevent you from getting the latest Windows features as soon as they’re available.
My Outlook before would print a message right off of the received column. Now it only print the first page.
I can not get rid of the files side of the display, and when printing, it includes the files but cuts off the text of the message. At one time a right click would bring up an option to “print message”- no more. When going through previous emails, the previous email viewed was shaded- no more.
The right text advance bar often disappears and advancing text is erratic and unreliable. This Windows 10 is garbage.
I am unable to get Windows Outlook to load my email. Windows works but does not Outlook won’t show my email.
