If you see a lock button next to a website’s address in Microsoft Edge, it means:
– What you send and receive from the website is encrypted, which makes it difficult for anyone else to get this information.
– The website is verified, which means that the company running the site has a certificate proving they own it. Click the lock button to see who owns the site and who verified it.

Microsoft Edge is the new browser and many of the one things, which was introduced by Microsoft in Windows 10 to the users.
When you visit a website that requires you to sign in, Microsoft Edge will ask if you want your username and password remembered. When you visit the site next time, Microsoft Edge will finish filling in your account info. Password will be save by default. Here’s how to turn it on or off:
In the Microsoft Edge browser, select More actions (…) > Settings > View Advanced Settings.
For help with the Xbox app, enter your question in the search box on the taskbar. You’ll get answers from Cortana or Bing.
Try “What’s the Xbox app?” or “What’s a gamertag?” If that doesn’t work, have a look at the Gaming & entertainment page on the Windows website.

New browser in Windows 10 includes new built-in reading list in Microsoft Edge. If you used the Reading List app in Windows 8.1 and you’ve now upgraded to Windows 10, move best items from the old app over to Microsoft Edge.
In the Reading List app, select an item to open it in Microsoft Edge. (If it opens in a different browser, first go to Start, then Settings > System > Default apps and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge.)
In Microsoft Edge, select the star icon, select Reading list, then select Add.
Browsing history—including info you’ve entered into forms, passwords and sites you’ve visited—is the information that Microsoft Edge remembers and stores on a mobile phone as you browse the web.
To view your browsing history, select Hub > History.
To delete it from here:
1-Select Clear all history
2-Choose the types of data or files you want to remove from your phone, then select Clear.
